Milk & Honey is designed to keep Scripture-centered moments simple. Some information may remain only on your device, some may be associated with your account, and some may be processed by service providers that help us operate, secure, improve, and support the service.

We do not store your full payment card number. Subscription purchases are processed through Apple or Google, depending on the platform you use.

5. On-device storage and permissions
Some Milk & Honey data may be stored locally on your device, depending on which features you use.
- Local app storage: app state, preferences, saved content, progress, reminders, and similar information may be stored on your device, including when you use guest-access or offline-friendly features. If you later sign in, some locally stored information may be associated with or migrated into your account where supported.
- Backup, restore, and sync features: on supported devices or account types, Milk & Honey may offer optional backup, restore, sync, migration, or similar continuity features that store certain app data with account, platform, or cloud storage providers, such as Apple iCloud, CloudKit, Supabase, or similar services. This may include preferences, progress, saved content, selected topics, reminders, plan state, and similar app state. Some provider-controlled services may also be governed by the account, device, and privacy settings you maintain with that provider.
- Notifications and permissions: if you enable reminders or related features, the app may request notification permissions and may schedule notifications using your selected settings.
- Device media and export features: if you choose to save, export, or share generated content, the app may request device permissions such as photo-library access so it can complete that request.
- Widgets and connected surfaces: on supported platforms, Milk & Honey may store feature-ready data in shared local storage so widgets, extensions, or similar surfaces can display the content or state you choose to use.
You can control many of these permissions and features through your device settings, app settings, or by deleting the app or your account.

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Milk & Honey, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and whether you keep an account with us.
Account-linked data is generally retained while your account remains active, unless a longer retention period is required for legal, security, subscription, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping reasons. Information stored only on your device may remain there until you delete it, delete the app, or use in-app or device controls to remove it.

You may have rights or choices about how your information is used, including:
- Accessing, correcting, deleting, or requesting a copy of certain personal information, subject to applicable law and identity verification.
- Updating or deleting certain account information within the app where those controls are available.
- Turning notifications on or off through your device settings and app preferences.
- Deleting your account within the app. Account deletion removes Milk & Honey account data we control, subject to any information we are legally required or otherwise permitted to retain, but it does not automatically cancel active App Store or Google Play billing.
- Managing or canceling subscriptions through the mobile app store platform you used to subscribe.
